At Downtown Eyes, we’re committed to ensuring your eyewear fits and functions properly. Enjoy free adjustments and repairs, along with peace of mind knowing your frames and lenses are covered by our comprehensive warranty. We’re here to support you with kindness and care every step of the way.
Free for Life
Get free adjustments, minor repairs, nose pads, and cleaning from our certified opticians for as long as you own your eyewear.
Frame and Lens Warranty
Your lenses and frames are protected against manufacturer defects for one year from the purchase date!
Issues like stress fractures, lens coating crazing, lens delamination, lens chipping, and frames breaking at solder points.
Damage from abuse (e.g., deep scratches, improper cleaning, pet damage, being stepped on, etc.), lost, stolen, or destroyed eyewear.
If you would like to update lenses into an old frame, we aren’t responsible for any breaks or damage, as aging frames can be brittle. A frame waiver will be signed at the time of purchase, and frame will be sent to the lab to install new lenses.
For non-covered damage within a year of purchase, we offer a 50% discount on repairs or replacements. This doesn’t apply to lost or stolen eyewear.
Prescription Changes
- Prescriptions from Downtown Eyes:
- If your prescription needs adjustment, our doctors will provide a complimentary prescription recheck within 90 days of the initial exam. If a new prescription is determined, we offer a 1-time lens replacement at no cost. After 90 days, a standard exam fee applies.
- Prescriptions Filled Elsewhere:
- We’ll recheck the prescription within 60 days of the original refraction date, as long as the lenses were made correctly. We aren’t responsible for outside costs.
- Prescriptions from Other Doctors:
- Lenses will be remade once for free if the new prescription is provided within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days or for additional changes, standard lens charges apply.
